Updated disaster assessment maps for the Palisades, Eaton wildfires
LOS ANGELES (KTLA) – The Los Angeles County Fire Department has provided the following maps of the thousands of structures, primarily homes, that were damaged or destroyed in the Palisades and Eaton wildfires.
The map icons reflect the current known status of each structure. Red indicates a structure was destroyed. Orange indicates “major” damage. Yellow indicates “minor” damage. Green indicates a low level of impact. Black indicates a structure not damaged. Grey indicates “inaccessible.”
Incident commanders say field damage inspections are ongoing and will change as new information is gathered and verified.
In addition to zooming and panning with the maps, you can enter addresses into the search bar to locate specific locations.

The Palisades Fire scorched over 23,000 acres and destroyed at least 10,000 structures in the Pacific Palisades, Malibu and areas of the Santa Monica Mountains. The Eaton Fire leveled approximately 7,000 structures and charred 14,000 acres in Altadena and Pasadena. At least 24 people are confirmed dead.
Experts believe these two wildfires could be the costliest natural disaster in U.S. history.
