Man arrested for attempted murder in Riverside County stabbing
A suspect was arrested for attempted murder after he allegedly stabbed a man in Riverside County.
On June 19, deputies responded to an assault with a deadly weapon in the 45000 block of Highway 74 in Hemet shortly after 3 p.m.
The victim was found with a stab wound. He told deputies that Roman Neely, 30, of Hemet, was the alleged attacker.
After investigating, authorities located Neely and took him into custody for attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
A search warrant was served at the home where the incident occurred, and deputies found additional evidence of the stabbing.
Further details, including the motive behind the attack or how the suspect and victim were known to each other, were not released.
