Two arrested in connection to 13 puppies being abandoned in central Utah
EMERY COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — Two people have been arrested in connection to 13 puppies being abandoned in Emery County earlier this year.
The Emery County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the arrest of the two suspects on Thursday but the identities of the suspects were not released.
In April, tourists had found the puppies in the desert in Emery County. Best Friends Animal Society reported that animal rescue crews captured the 13 dogs that were found “out loose” in the San Rafael Swell Recreation Area in central Utah.
The puppies were believed to be 6 to 18 months old.
